ERICA HUSTON
Erica Huston has been a hairdresser on the peninsula for the last 16 years. She started beauty school at CSM almost immediately after attending Carlmont High School & has worked at high end salons ever since.
In that time she had dedicated her professional life to understanding the ins and outs of hair texture and density to give her clients the best haircuts and color. A personal experience- through and through.
She has attended numerous classes all over the country. Starting with Paul Mitchell fundamentals in LA, numerous smaller venues in Hollywood, Bumble & Bumble in New York, San Francisco and R+Co in Miami. It matters to her that she is constantly improving her craft and it shows with her attention to detail. She specializes in fine hair, bob haircuts, color, balayage techniques, tape in extensions and smoothing treatments.
Opening her own salon has been a dream of hers for many years. Waiting for the perfect opportunity to snag up the old “Michael’s Hair Design” -where she used to work as a teenager. Creating a high end boutique salon for the busy rental stylist and their clientele!

KELLY CENDAK
Kelly is a Bay Area native with over 15 years of hair expertise. She strives to be a master at her craft. Her specialties include dimensional color, haircuts with longevity as well as Brazilian keratin smoothing treatments.
Kelly began her career on the Peninsula working at high-end salons, as well as in San Francisco. She has learned and honed in on her precision- in both cut and color while gaining experience and cultivating relationships with a vast clientele that appreciates her eye for detail. Her advanced-level education is from the top names in hair: Vidal Sassoon, Bumble & bumble, and Oribe to name a few. Over the years she has worked with professional photographers on weddings and photo shoots for print work. Working exclusively with quality products, she handpicks the best for her guests and her continued education keeps her current with the latest and upcoming trends in hair and beauty.
When she’s not at the salon, Kelly loves physical fitness, being out in nature -petting all the dogs, and rollerskating around town.

CECI SPENCER
Ceci Spencer has been in the industry for almost a decade. She is a Bay Area native, graduating from Carlmont High School in 2008. Creative from an early age- she knew she needed an outlet for that creativity. Deciding that hair would be her medium, she started her career in cosmetology and has blossomed into a caring and thoughtful stylist that sees you and your hair.
Since receiving her cosmetology license she has continued her education from well-known artists such as Daniel M and Mane Ivy (Michelle Zeller Porumb). Continual education is very important to her as she loves keeping up with new trends and learning all the new techniques.
She loves a good challenge and strives to bring her clients' hair goals to life, as well as providing a unique and exclusive salon experience. her specialty is balayage and lived-in hair color for an organic feel. Her passion is to perfect her craft and have each client look and feel their best self.

ALYSSA HALL
SPECIALTIES: Dimensional color, Balayage, and Styling
Alyssa is a Bay Area born and raised hairstylist, sought after for her dimensional and lived-in hairstyles. Her love for hair and glamour started at a young age, having plenty of direction from a family full of artists and creatives.
After assisting and training alongside a master hairstylist for three years, Alyssa moved to the Peninsula to become a full-time stylist. She has worked for Miss California beauty pageants and styled bridal clients all over Northern California, with her work being published in The Knot wedding magazine.
Now at the beautiful Slate Salon, Alyssa specializes in dimensional color, blondes, and Brazilian smoothing treatments. Alyssa also provides styling for weddings, parties, proms, and special events. She offers a unique touch that is both visually high-impact and physically low-maintenance.
